Litter Cleanup in Gouna
El Gouna, nestled along the Red Sea coast of Egypt, is a vibrant resort town renowned for its picturesque beauty and relaxed atmosphere. This man-made paradise, built on a series of islands interconnected by lagoons, boasts stunning beaches with crystal-clear waters ideal for diving and snorkelling as well as kite surfing on an array of endless beaches.
Unfortunately, due to the massive beach popularity, many different forms of litter have accumulated throughout these beaches and beyond into the sea. Upon seeing this, we knew that enough was enough.
We decided to dedicate a whole day to cleaning up all of the trash and litter lying around on the beach, as well as floating in the sea.
In the collage you see, shows just the first box of many which contained the rubbish we were picking up.
